Apr. 26, 2018 – Peter Hanna joins the Harting team as the new territory sales manager for Ontario, where he will leverage an “extensive background” in HVAC design and sales to help customers adopt the company’s industrial connectivity, edge computing and other advanced solutions, says the company.

“Since Harting Canada was created, we’ve seen business grow steadily, in large part by offering solutions-oriented, pre- and after-sales support, whether it’s from our staff in Canada or from the technical support team at Harting North America. That’s our strategy, and Peter, with his experience in both product design and sales, is an ideal fit,” said Carl Maalouf, Harting Canada’s director of sales.

Harting says Hanna’s appointment will enhance the company’s ability to provide personal support in the country’s largest market at a time when it plans to introduce new technologies designed to increase productivity in conventional and Industry 4.0/IoT production environments.

Hanna earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering specializing in solar energy, both from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont., then worked in the HVAC business as a design engineer, direct salesperson, manager of a sales network and as a business development manager.
