B.C.’s Altec newest member of Bosch Rexroth system integrator program

Automation and control integration provider Altec Integrated Solutions Ltd. has completed the certification process to become the latest member of Bosch Rexroth Canada’s Electric Drive and Controls “Systemintegrator” program.

Headquartered in Coquitlam, B.C., Altec is now offering its clients the production and application know-how — combined with the needed industry sector knowledge — of a Bosch Rexroth systems integrator to guarantee optimum implementation of Bosch Rexroth systems and components, Bosch Rexroth says.

As a system integrator, Altec can now develop customized, innovative solutions for its customers based on the Bosch Rexroth Automation House. Achieving certified system integrator status means it can combine Rexroth drive and control technology with in-house solutions, design and integration skills to give its customers a technical advantage in addressing their application’s challenges, Bosch Rexroth says.

Altec has enjoyed growth from its beginnings in 1999 to the present day. The company began in machine automation and industrial design for the forest products industry, entertainment, food and beverage and municipal services industries, and today has expanded its depth of knowledge and skill sets to cover a wider variety of industries.
