Moore Industries celebrates 50 years of business

May 14, 2018 – Moore Industries is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.

In 1968 then founder and president Leonard W. Moore established Moore Industries focused on product quality, reliability, and exceptional customer service. “After working in the instrumentation industry for a few years, I saw a market for tough, reliable, noise-resistant signal conditioners,” he said.

The company started out with three employees in a garage in California, and now has offices worldwide in the United States, Australia, Belgium, China, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom serving process manufacturing businesses and fortune 500 companies in oil, gas, mining, chemical, power generation, water/waste water treatment, pharmaceutical, food, beverage, consumer packaged goods, semiconductor, and biotechnology industries.

“Over the years, we have transformed the company’s analogue instrumentation lines and solutions into microprocessor and software based smart instrumentation and control products. An overwhelming amount of the company’s long-term success and tenure within the industry belongs to our devoted and hardworking employees,” said Scott Saunders, president and CEO.

Today Moore Industries’ rugged and reliable products include alarms, HART interface devices, complete temperature sensing and transmitting products, signal conditioners and isolators with a rapidly expanding line of IEC 61508-certified Functional Safety devices.
