May 18, 2018 – Balluff says its new IP69-rated inline universal connector is designed to withstand exposure to corrosive chemicals and pressure wash-down, making it suitable for the harsh environments found in food processing and pharmaceutical applications.
The connector module consolidates up to eight channels of digital inputs or outputs to a single four-wire sensor cable, Balluff explains, adding that the active I/O distribution module offers on-board diagnostics for per channel short circuit protection and over-current to help debug problems on the line. The universal I/O connector also features a M18 barrel style, stainless steel V4A housing and ECOLAB certification.
