APEM releases IX series pushbutton

Jul. 20, 2018 – APEM has announced the latest in its popular I series pushbutton range with the new compact and waterproof  IX series. The IX series, APEM explains, combines the qualities of the IP and IA series with a backlit switch, 12-mm diameter compact bushing and flexible elastomer membrane actuator.

APEM says the flexible elastomer membrane actuator does not have a space between the actuator and bushing, guaranteeing an IP69K panel sealing, while providing resistance to frost, sand and other contaminants. As well, the “ultra-thin” design offers an ergonomic advantage with a tight matrix mounting, says APEM. The IX series pushbutton offers a range of customization. Customers can choose from nine different actuator colours, illuminated markings with five different LED colors and several different marking symbols. Illumination can also be limited to just the symbol, or the entire membrane actuator.
