Lanner debuts NCA-5220 network appliance for traffic security

October 22, 2018 – Lanner has released the NCA-5220, a network appliance powered by the Intel Xeon E3-2100 processor.

The 1U 19-inch rackmount solution can be customized with Intel Xeon E3 v5, Core™ i7/i5/i3, Pentium or Celeron processor and Intel C246 chipset.

The NCA-5220 is positioned as a next-gen firewall, UTM and IDS/IDP gateway for network traffic security, cloud computing and data centres, and can be configured with two GbE RJ45 for dual MGMT Intel i210, eight GbE RJ45 Intel i210, four GbE RJ45 Intel i350-AM4, four SFP LAN ports and up to three pairs of gen3 bypass.

The NCA-5220 comes with two NIC module slots for expansion and supports up to 64GB of DDR4 2666MHz system memory in either ECC or non-ECC UDIMM. For storage, there are two 2.5-inch HDD/SSD bays available. Other I/O includes one RJ45 console, two USB 3.0 and four keypads. Also available is the optional support for two PCI-E *4 FH/HL and M.2 2242 B+M keys.

The NCA-5220 is equipped with four system fans and 300W 1+1 ATX redundant PSUs.
