Z-AXIS announces Joe Sklepik as manufacturing engineering manager

November 20, 2018 – Joe Sklepik has been promoted to manufacturing engineering manager at Z-AXIS, Inc., a contract design and electronic manufacturing services provider near Rochester, NY with customers across the U.S. and Canada.

In this role, Sklepik is responsible for planning and implementing manufacturing processes, developing standard and customer-specific fixtures and tooling, recommending and installing new and upgraded equipment, training users, troubleshooting manufacturing issues and managing preventative maintenance. Sklepik joined Z-AXIS in 2017 as a manufacturing engineer after six years of prior experience as a mechanical engineer and product manager with CTC. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology from Rochester Institute of Technology.
