WIN Enterprises announces line of AMD Ryzen-powered servers

January 7, 2019 – WIN Enterprises, a global manufacturer of embedded x86 motherboards and appliances for OEMs, has announced the line of PL-81980 network servers.

These appliances offer high performance networking in a 1U rackmount form factor. The device supports the AMD Ryzen R3 Pro, R5 Pro and R7 Pro processors, as well as the AMD X470 FCH network system, a AMD small form factor motherboard.

The Ryzen RX Processor series can be compared to the Intel product line of i3, i5, and i7 processors. The servers contain eight copper GbE ports, 4 SFP GbE, 4 SFP+ 10GbE; one PCIe X8 slot; one riser card for PCIe slot for LAN expansion; and expansive I/O with USB 2.0, 2.5″ SATA HDD bay.

WIN Enterprises will customize the PL-81980 based on specific customer requirements.
