INO releases new infrared camera with high sensitivity

March 1, 2019  by Manufacturing AUTOMATION

March 1, 2019 – Quebec City–based INO has released the MICROXCAM-384i-MLWIR, an infrared camera based on the sensitive INO 384 x 288-pixel uncooled microbolometer FPA.

The deivce is fabricated using the company’s 35 µm pixel VOx technology. A thin gold black film provides a flat spectral response in both the MWIR and LWIR, offering more camera sensitivity.

This high sensitivity is within a dual band response from three to 14 µm. Our camera provides live video images at 50 Hz and features a very small footprint: 61 x 61 x 65 mm. Its low power consumption, lightweight and ability to see in the MWIR to LWIR makes it ideal for manufacturing, quality control, process monitoring, spectroscopy, security, inspection and astronomy applications.
