February 26, 2019 – Simplimatic Automation, a provider of industrial automation solutions, is expanding its operations to include a new facility near its Forest, Virginia headquarters.

The new space, in Rustberg, Virginia, will house the company’s Cimtrak business line of electronics material handling solutions.

“This move is an exciting advancement for the company,” says Jeremy Vaughan, electronics business manager of Simplimatic Automation. “The electronics industry is a vital part of our business, and now it will get more attention and space as the company grows.”

The Cimtrak line includes board handling and aisleway conveyors, as well as tray stackers and other line loading and unloading systems.

“The Cimtrak product line is a cornerstone of our business,” says Tom DiNardo, president and CEO of Simplimatic Automation. “This additional space will allow us to have a dedicated area and staff for product development which will, in turn, ensure quick and precise construction and shipping to our customers.”

Production at the new facility, which includes space for expansion, will run five days a week on two shifts – first and second. The move is slated to be complete by the end of February.

Simplimatic Automation designs and manufactures automation components for assembly and packaging manufacturers. Among its areas of focus are electronics PCB assembly, food packaging, medical device assembly and palletizing.
