Binder adds positionable male connector to M12 product family

March 14, 2019 – binder USA has expanded the M12 product family with the addition of the positionable and lockable M12 male panel-mounted connector.

Standard panel-mount connectors have a fixed contact insert, limiting the mating connector to a single fixed position.

binder’s new M12 connector has a separate contact body, allowing it to be positioned exactly where users want the mating right-angle cable connector.

This feature allows users to keep the cable from obstructing other connections or devices on the panel. Additionally, the contact body is pre-wired with 24 AWG wires, and available with four, five or eight contacts.

The rated current is available as 4 A (3 A UL), 1,5 A (2A UL) and rated voltage is available in 250 V, 60 V, 30 V. Contact plating is gold.
