CAS DataLogger, a distributor of data-logging equipment, and Ibexis, innovators and manufacturers of low-power remote monitoring solutions, have announced a partnership for the distribution of Ibexis products throughout Canada and the U.S.

Ibexis, based in Manchester, England, produces a range of low-power telemetry devices known as Monitoring Service Points (MSP). An MSP can be connected to virtually any sensor or instrument. Once connected the MSP logs and transmits live data via a GPRS cellular modem to the Ibexis gateway where the data is processed and hosted, enabling users to access their data from a remote location via the internet. Ibexis MSPs have application uses including monitoring of water, air quality, emissions, climate and meteorology.

Darren Rickless, channels director for Ibexis, says, “Environmental monitoring will be one of several key markets for Ibexis in North America, and through this partnership, Ibexis is well positioned to assist public and private sector organizations to meet stricter compliance requirements with the need to have improved and more timely environmental data.”
