Matrox Vision Academy fall 2019 registration open

September 16, 2019 – Starting October 23, Matrox Imaging will offer its next series of classroom training events on machine vision, called Matrox Vision Academy.

Sessions will address the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) software development kit (SDK) and the Matrox Design Assistant integrated development environment (IDE), and will take place at Matrox Imaging headquarters in Montreal.

Three-day training on how to use Matrox Design Assistant flowchart-based vision software to configure and deploy vision applications. The course will explain how to construct a flowchart, choose the best analysis and processing tools, set up the operator view (HMI), and interface to automation equipment like PLCs. One-on-one time with experienced Matrox Imaging technical staff will ensure an immersive, informative educational experience.

Introduction to the MIL/MIL-Lite Environment

Monday, October 28 to Thursday, October 31, 2019

Providing a general overview of the MIL/MIL-Lite environment, this three-day course covers how to set up the development environment, manage image buffers, perform image capture, and do image display. With practical hands-on workshops, attendees will develop the understanding and skills necessary to solve real-world imaging applications. An optional fourth day is available for one-on-one application-specific discussions with experienced Matrox Imaging technical staff.

Not available for the training? Matrox Imaging has that covered, with the option for Matrox Vision Academy Online Training through its new website. This on-demand training resource for both software delivers just-in-time instructional videos on how to use the software to create vision applications. Available to customers with MIL or Matrox Design Assistant maintenance subscriptions, as well as those evaluating either software, users can seek out training on specific topics of interest when needed.
