Jul. 30, 2017 - Manufacturing AUTOMATION was there as M&R Automation Canada celebrated the grand opening of its relocated headquarters in North York, Ont. Located at 355 Norfinch Drive, the new facility boasts 32,000 square feet for sales, project management, mechanical and electrical design and assembly departments.

Apr. 20, 2017 - The lively biennial show, Automate, has concluded its 2017 edition, and organizers say this year has been the most successful to date. Held April 3-6, more than 400 exhibitors and more than 20,000 people travelled to the McCormick Place in Chicago, Ill., where collaborative robots (cobots), machine learning, virtual reality and other manufacturing technology took centre stage. Last month, Manufacturing AUTOMATION publisher Klaus Pirker and I spent four jam-packed days at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago, Ill., and there was certainly no shortage of people to chat with and demos to check out.
