Celestica appoints new director to its board

Celestica has announced the appointment of Luis Muller to its board of directors, effective August 31, 2021.

Muller brings with him 25 years of business and technical leadership experience in the semiconductor industry, to his new role. He was appointed CEO and board member of Cohu in 2014. Before joining Cohu, Muller co-founded Kinetrix and joined Teradyne when it acquired Kinetrix.

“We are happy to have Mr. Muller join Celestica’s board,” said Mike Wilson, chair of Celestica’s board of directors. “We will benefit from his deep experience in the semiconductor industry, as well as his extensive background in strategic planning, international operations and corporate development.”

Muller has a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.S. and M.S. in mechanical engineering from Universidade Federal Santa Catarina. He also has the requisite financial experience for audit committee purposes.

With Muller’s appointment, Celestica now has 10 members on its board of directors.
