A French episode of the Cobots in Canada webinar series is airing live on Wednesday, September 22 at 2 pm ET.

Many unique challenges plague the manufacturing sector in Canada. As an export nation, we have to be what our customers need: from high and medium volumes to high mix and low volumes.

Attracting, securing and retaining skilled personnel is a major challenge for Canadian businesses post-COVID. Therefore, capital investment in automation is a critical conversation that the industry needs to have today.

Interestingly, “cobots” happen to be the fastest-growing segment in automation today. Given their lower cost and quicker deployment compared to traditional robots, this is not surprising.

Watch the French episode of this cross-Canada webinar series, sponsored by Universal Robots, where we will showcase use cases, distributors, integrators and end-users of collaborative robots. This webinar is specifically tailored to the French audience across Canada, but anyone can attend.

Moderator Alexandre Pare will lead the discussion. Pare graduated in mechanical engineering from McGill University and founded Revtech Systems in 2016. The company specializes in the integration of custom robotic solutions using different technologies such as industrial robots, collaborative robots and mobile robots. Revtech is also the number one integrator in Quebec in the field of collaborative robotics, integrating Universal Robots across the province. Thanks to its Lean Robotics approach, Revtech supports Quebec manufacturers in the development of robotic solutions, but also in the development of their knowledge in the field. Alex believes that the development and growth of manufacturing companies in Quebec are going to happen not only by the implementation of robots but also by the development of knowledge in robotics directly on the shop floors.

What you’ll learn:

  • What is collaborative automation and why should manufacturers consider it?
  • How to plan for success in collaborative robots
  • Use cases: Who is doing what with cobots in Canada?
  • The ROI of using cobots to automate repetitive tasks: quality, cost savings and bottom-line results.
