Cogiscan partners with Critical Manufacturing on digital solutions for electronics manufacturers

Cogiscan has partnered with Critical Manufacturing to deliver smart factory solutions for electronics manufacturers.

Cogiscan is a Quebec-based track, trace and control (TTC) solutions provider for the electronics manufacturing industry. The scalable Cogiscan platform integrates with all major equipment types and is highly configurable to enable a personalized solution to each customer’s specific production needs.

Critical Manufacturing’s augmented MES solutions, in combination with Cogiscan’s Co-NECT machine connectivity technology, will deliver digital transformation solutions for electronics manufacturers that the companies say will enhance productivity and quality. Critical Manufacturing is based in Porto, Portugal.

The joint solutions resulting from this partnership will deliver both the deep machine connectivity and robust MES business logic, say the companies.

Cogiscan has been partnering for many years with ASM SMT Solutions, the primary SMT equipment business segment of ASMPT, which made a strategic investment in Critical Manufacturing during August 2018. Therefore, this new partnership with Critical Manufacturing is a natural extension of that successful long-term collaboration.
