May 4, 2018 – Matrox Imaging is offering onsite classroom training on the Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) 10 software development kit (SDK) and the Matrox Design Assistant integrated development environment (IDE) at its Montreal, Que., headquarters. Students can choose to register for either one or both classes.

Matrox Design Assistant: May 30 to June 1
The three-day training offers instruction on how to configure and deploy vision applications by constructing a flowchart instead of writing traditional program code. Attendees will learn how to set up the operator view (HMI), choose the best analysis and processing tools, and interface to automation equipment like PLCs. One-on-one time with experienced developers will ensure an immersive educational experience.

Introduction to the MIL/MIL-Lite Environment: June 4 to 7
The four-day course provides a general overview of MIL/MIL-Lite, explaining how to set up a development environment, and how to manage image buffers, image capture, and image display. The course also offers practical hands-on workshops to develop the knowledge and skills to solve real-world imaging applications.

Students must register for training in advance. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. More information is available on the Matrox Imaging website or by emailing imaging.training@matrox.com.
