Exceltec releases Magna-Plug magnetic connector

Exceltec has released the Magna-Plug connector, which disconnects automatically when pull from a cable.

The self-mating connector withstands harsh environments.

Magna-Plug is ideal for manufacturing applications such as temperature probes, low-voltage, 4-20mA, Ethernet, communications and more.

The Magna Plug has two connectors: a male connector and a female connector. It also has a female connector variant for panel mounting.

The body of the connectors is made of food-grade teflon, which meets FDA specifications. It is also equipped with a stainless steel ring to give it more stiffness. Currently, the magnetic connector comes with six pins which can accommodate up to 18-calibre conductors.
