XCMG opens service centre, retail store in Edmonton

Jun. 15, 2017 – XCMG, the multinational heavy machinery manufacturing company, has opened its first retail store and service centre in Edmonton, Alta., where it will offer local sales, spare part, service and customer service support for its construction machinery products.

The new complex covers an area of 14,500 square meters and operates eight maintenance shops, including two machining workshops, five repair shops and one cleaning shop that can provide repair, inspection and maintenance services for 10 machinery equipment at the same time. The facility also has warehouses for machinery products and spare parts as well as offices.

XCMG says the facility will help improve its network in North America by guaranteeing an “amply supply of spare parts, boosting local clients’ confidence in XCMG products and after-sale service.”

“Expanding in the high-end North American market has always been a priority for XCMG. We’ve established a research and development centre in the U.S. that specializes in product design and adaptability improvement, which allows us to create products that meet North American standards, while further completing our sales and service networks on the ground to provide complete construction machinery solutions to our clients,” said Wang Min, president of XCMG.
