Mar. 27, 2018 – The partnership between smart-grid electric vehicle charging provider eMotorWerks and Autochargers.ca continues to grow with the grand opening of Ontario’s first manufacturing facility focused on the manufacture of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations.

Autochargers.ca is a Canadian EV infrastructure supplier and installer, as well as an exclusive eMotorWerks manufacturer and distributor.

The Markham, Ontario-based facility is expected to create 100 new manufacturing jobs in the region within the next three years. At maximum capacity, the Autochargers.ca facility will produce 40,000 annually eMotorWerks JuiceBox charging stations for sale in Canada, and potentially for the United States in the future.

By partnering with eMotorWerks, Autochargers.ca customers have access to Cloud-connected and intelligent charging stations (EVSE) using the JuiceBox charging hardware and Wi-Fi and Cloud-connected JuiceNet software platform. With JuiceNet-enabled smart grid optimizations, EV drivers will be able to generate renewable energy by tapping into periods of solar and wind generation to charge their EVs.
