
Feds invest $285K in Que. components manufacturer

Omnifab, a manufacturer of mechanical components, is receiving $285,000 from the federal government to install new production equipment and integrated management software.
The repayable contribution is being made through the Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED).
In addition to manufacturing, the Louisville, Que.–based Omnifab designs and repairs mechanical components, and offers a mobile onsite machining service.
Funds have been granted under CED’s Regional Economic Growth through Innovation program, which targets entrepreneurs leveraging innovation to grow their businesses and enhance their competitiveness.
