September 4, 2018 – Below, we’ve rounded up a few manufacturing software solutions providers that are debuting new products next week (September 10 to 15) at IMTS 2018 in Chicago.

The Digital Factory exhibition in the Hannover Messe USA pavilion will highlight products focused on integrated processes and IT solutions for plant operations. Microsoft will showcase a number of solutions, including: Connected Field, which remotely collects and monitors data; Predictive Maintenance, which can anticipate equipment failures ahead of time, thus allowing manufacturers to prevent them; and Remote Monitoring, which allows end-to-end analysis of equipment or products.

Also at the Digital Factory, software corporation SAP will discuss how companies can use an intelligent suite, intelligent technologies such as the digital twin and machine learning, and a digital platform such as the cloud to become an Intelligent Enterprise.

Digital transformation specialist CENIT plans to present the latest version of FASTSUITE Edition 2, its 3D simulation software for the digital factory. The software, used for offline programming of complex robot applications, has now been expanded to include functions for layout planning, PLC validation and virtual commissioning. At IMTS, CENIT will demonstrate the entire production process of a manufacturing cell from a door production facility.

ECi Software Solutions, an industry-specific, cloud-based business management solutions provider, will showcase its JobBOSS and M1 software, developed to facilitate growth for small and medium-sized manufacturers. The company’s ERP systems offer complete visibility into all aspects of operations, streamline critical operational processes and provide real-time visibility into the entire business through one dashboard, enabling manufacturers to make more informed decisions.

Precision geometry software supplier Kubotek3D will launch its K-Display View software at the show. The software is a multi-platform program for CAD file viewing available on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. The K-Display View replaces the Kubotek Spectrum multi-CAD viewer software introduced in 2005, and provides a streamlined user interface and significantly faster operation over its predecessor.
