Jun. 7, 2016 – Genius Solutions says the launch of its newest version of its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software solution — Genius Manufacturing ERP V8 — has been an international success, accounting for an 30-per-cent increase in sales of the solution in the North American market.

“We used the feedback from the previous versions of our ERP solutions software in order to deliver a fully integrated system with superior quality and technological capabilities. Genius Manufacturing ERP V8 is the culmination of hard work that will benefit our customers for years to come,” said Dominic Vézina, company vice president.

The ERP V8 solution boasts an “improved and fully integrated” customer relationship management (CRM) module, as well as a new Genius REST API, which promises to allow the integration of third party products, websites, and custom developments, described Genius.

For more than two decades, Genius Solutions has been working with midsized custom manufacturers to “help them unlock hidden value and effectively manage their growth,” delivering various manufacturing solutions, including software development, implementation services, field expertise and support. According to the company, its “biggest addition” to Genius Manufacturing ERP is the fully integrated Genius Accounting suite, which allows users to manage financial transactions with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger modules.

“Since the implementation of the Genius Accounting suite, our processes have been made easier and simpler as all our information is in one single system,” said Stéphane Larouche, general manager at Mecanicad.

“The ability to drill down from our general ledger all the way to our original transaction has allowed us to raise our efficiency and effectiveness,” added Claudia Dubois, finance director at AddÉnergie.
