Harting welcomes Dr. Vivek Dave to the team

Mar. 9, 2016 – Harting U.S. has hired Dr. Vivek Dave as its director of technology development, directing all North America-related research activities, new technologies and projects with the company’s key technology partners.

Dr. Dave comes to Harting with more than 20 years of experience in early-stage development of advanced technologies involving manufacturing, materials and algorithms. He co-founded Sigma Labs in 2006 and since then, he’s been involved in a number of start-up organizations, most notably Kinalco, which he also co-founded.

He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from the California Institute of Technology, a master’s degree from MIT in materials engineering and a Ph.D. from MIT in materials engineering with a minor in mathematics.
