Nov. 11, 2015 - Leviton Manufacturing Company announced today Daryoush Larizadeh has been named president, effective immediately, where he will have responsibility for all of the company’s operating units worldwide. He will continue to serve as chief operating officer (COO) and will report directly to CEO Donald J. Hendler.

Oct. 30, 2015 - Shimco has announced the inaugural Shimco Scholarship awarded for continuing education at McMaster University to Carmen Bracho, a level II mechanical engineering and management student at the school. She received the award earlier this month from Peter Voss, Shimco president, CEO and owner.
Oct. 27, 2015 - Stratasys is welcoming Dell veteran John Gould as the newest member of its leadership team. With more than 20 years of global management and technology experience, Gould will serve as president of North American operations.
Oct. 26, 2015 - After almost 50 years in the management of the Harting Technology Group, Dietmar Harting handed over the position of chairman of the Board to his son Philip Harting on October 1st. Dietmar will remain a member of the company group’s board as personally liable partner and will focus on matters concerning “the future and new technologies.”
Sept. 14, 2015 - Helix Linear Technologies says it has hired Dave Arguin as vice-president of business development to help “expand a steadily growing list of national and international lead screw and linear actuator clients.”
Sept. 8, 2015 - TM Robotics, partnered with Toshiba Machine, has hired Doug Dalgliesh as business development manager. Boasting more than 35 years of industrial robot experience, Dalgliesh will be responsible for cultivating the company’s distributor network while identifying and nurturing new markets.
Aug. 31, 2015 -  After eight years with Equipment Supply Company (ESCO), the company is promoting Steve Dyer to the position of president. In this role, Dyer will have the responsibility of working with and building relationships with ESCO’s customer base worldwide, while working with sales and customer service staff to manage day-to-day sales activities.


Aug. 31, 2015 - ABB, a power and automation technology group, has named Nathalie Pilon as the new managing director for ABB in Canada, effective October 1, 2015, replacing Daniel Assandri.
Jul. 27, 2015 - Lafert North America — a Mississauga, Ont.-based supplier of metric motors, gearboxes and pumps — has appointed Ken Clune to the position of national director of sales.
Jul. 21, 2015 - Bill Hewitson has been promoted to president of Ruland Manufacturing after serving as vice-president of operations for the previous eight years. He is the third president in the company’s history and succeeds Bob Ruland who will continue to oversee the company as chairman.
Jul. 14, 2015 - After serving Mitutoyo Canada for 27 years, Jay Summers, executive vice president, has announced he will take retirement starting June 30, 2015. His role will be transitioned to Peter Detmers (photo) who has been with Mitutoyo Canada since 1991 and became vice president in 2012.
