Dec. 11, 2015 - Carlo Gavazzi has appointed Bob Fahrni as an account manager for the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and northern Ontario.  
Dec. 7, 2015 - Tamron has promoted Gregg Maniaci, a 20-year veteran of the company, to president and CEO of Tamron USA, at the start of the month. Hidekazu Suzuki was simultaneously appointed senior vice president.
Dec. 4, 2015 - Delcam has added three additional applications engineers to its customer support teams in North America, saying the new hires follow “increased interest” in Delcam’s software from manufacturing companies that “need to increase productivity to meet growing demand, improve quality and reduce waste, and shorten lead times.”
Dec. 4, 2015 - International measurement and automation equipment firm Endress+Hauser has appointed Anthony (Tony) Varga as CEO and general manager of its Canadian operations.

Nov. 23, 2015 - Congratulations to the Mahr Group on receiving the Bosch Global Supplier Award 2015! This is the second time since 2002 that the Mahr Group has been honoured with this award.
Nov. 23, 2015 - ­NKK Switches, a designer and manufacturer of electromechanical switching devices, has appointed Jessica Reimann to its management team as marketing manager. The company says the appointment marks its commitment to “further growth and development” as it prepares to launch new products and explore alternate markets.
Nov. 11, 2015 - Leviton Manufacturing Company announced today Daryoush Larizadeh has been named president, effective immediately, where he will have responsibility for all of the company’s operating units worldwide. He will continue to serve as chief operating officer (COO) and will report directly to CEO Donald J. Hendler.
Nov. 10, 2015 - Avid Solutions, a global provider of automation, industrial IT and smart manufacturing solutions, says it has hired its 100th employee, Reagan Howard, as the team’s newest engineer.

Oct. 30, 2015 - Shimco has announced the inaugural Shimco Scholarship awarded for continuing education at McMaster University to Carmen Bracho, a level II mechanical engineering and management student at the school. She received the award earlier this month from Peter Voss, Shimco president, CEO and owner.
Oct. 27, 2015 - Stratasys is welcoming Dell veteran John Gould as the newest member of its leadership team. With more than 20 years of global management and technology experience, Gould will serve as president of North American operations.
Oct. 26, 2015 - After almost 50 years in the management of the Harting Technology Group, Dietmar Harting handed over the position of chairman of the Board to his son Philip Harting on October 1st. Dietmar will remain a member of the company group’s board as personally liable partner and will focus on matters concerning “the future and new technologies.”
Sept. 14, 2015 - Helix Linear Technologies says it has hired Dave Arguin as vice-president of business development to help “expand a steadily growing list of national and international lead screw and linear actuator clients.”
