Three seasoned industry executives with a combined 100 years of experience have formed a new firm that designs, builds and retrofits material handling and storage systems.

Daniel Quinn, John Veitch and John Wylie are the founding managers of the new venture, which applies pneumatic controls and deep lane storage principles to many rapidly developing areas of material handling, distribution and supply chain management.

“Our research indicates that the industry is underserved in this area, and pneumatic and deep lane technology advancement is creating new opportunities for increased throughput and ROI,” said Wylie, who is chief operating officer of the new firm. “The founders of SafeFlo Technologies are seasoned executives who have years of management experience with several leading material handling firms. We all bring extensive pneumatic technology and deep lane storage experience to focus on opportunities that are now becoming more evident in many areas of the material handling and distribution industry.”

“SafeFlo can service and retrofit all existing pneumatic deep lane systems,” said Quinn, one of the founders. “We take the technology to a new level of cost savings by implementing SafeFlo designs. Companies are looking for effective ways to minimize the storage space required to manage palletized inventory, increase throughput and increase worker safety, including OSHA compliance for lockout/tagout in confined space.”

The new SafeFlo technology enhances solutions for palletized loads as well as slip sheets, commented co-founder Veitch. “SafeFlo products handle different types of conveying surfaces: wood, styrofoam, cardboard, plastics, and special requirements of the food industry.”

SafeFlo Technologies has facilities at Fort Mitchell, Ky., and Orlando, Fla., with satellite offices located throughout the United States, Europe and South America. Wylie can be reached at (866) 266-5887.
