EAO Corp. moves North American operations

EAO Corporation, a provider of HMI systems and components, is moving its North American headquarters and operations from Milford, Conn., to nearby One Parrott Drive in Shelton, Conn. The move is a result of a strategic decision to increase manufacturing capabilities in the U.S., and more than doubles EAO’s engineering and manufacturing capacity.

The new 20,000-square-foot facility will feature 8,000 square feet of office and engineering space, 8,000 square feet for production and assembly space, and 4,000 square feet for warehouse operations.

“Moving to a new facility will allow us to focus on enhancing our engineering and design technologies directly to our customers in North America,” said Lance A. Scott, president, EAO North America. “This underscores the evolving nature of EAO’s business and demonstrates our commitment to keeping human machine interface design and application solutions closer to our customers.”

The new location will also feature an array of advanced testing and analytical equipment, electronic communication and simultaneous engineering systems.
