New role for Eaton Canada exec

Eaton Canada has announced that Steve Boccadoro is its new senior vice-president and general manager, Electrical Canada, effective June 1. Boccadoro will report to Grant Gawronski, president, Electrical Industrial and Infrastructure Group.

Boccadoro joined Eaton in 1987 from KPMG. He has held numerous roles in Canada and the U.S., including controller, plant manager, marketing manager, vice-president/general manager, and SVP corporate sales and marketing. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from McMaster University, and is a chartered accountant. He will be based in Burlington, Ont.

The company has also announced that Perry D’Ortenzio is the new vice-president, Sales and Marketing, Electrical Canada, Electrical Sector – Americas. He will report directly to Steve Boccadoro. In this new role, D’Ortenzio will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy, execution and commercial approach for Eaton’s electrical business in Canada. He will also be responsible for sales synergies, channel management and co-ordinating the commercial segment strategy. In addition, D’Ortenzio will oversee the Electrical Canada sales and marketing teams.
