Raymond supported 115+ nonprofit organizations in 2014

Mar. 24, 2015 – The Raymond Corp., a global provider of material handling technology, has announced it contributed to more than 115 nonprofit and educational organizations in 2014, “providing tens of thousands of dollars in donations,” it says.

“Raymond is pleased to support organizations that help enrich the lives of so many people,” said Steve VanNostrand, executive vice-president of human resources. “We are especially proud of our employees and their countless hours of volunteering and fundraising.”

The Canadian Raymond Sales & Service Centre — Johnston Equipment — also donated time and efforts to various causes and charities in Canada. Last year, some of the monetary donations included: more than $100,000 for Big Brothers, Big Sisters; LCBO United Way events totalled more than $10,000; more than $8,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society; and more than $9,000 for Habitat for Humanity.
