Nov. 3, 2015 - Endress+Hauser strengthens its market presence in Western Canada with a new $10-million facility that will provide clients with access to some of the “most advanced technical support, training and measurement instrumentation in the world,” says the company.

When completed, the 20,000 sq. ft. Regional Customer Support Centre in Edmonton, Alta., will allow Endress+Hauser to centralize inventory, technical expertise and customer service support teams in a western hub for clients in Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia, says company officials.

The company says the facility will accommodate more than 50 associates.

Located at 91st Street, Gateway Business Park, the centre will include:

• office space for sales, technical support, project management and service associates;

• a warehouse for process measurement inventory to support customer requirements;

• a “state-of-the-art” Customer Training Centre with functional process models; and

• a certified Flow Calibration Lab.

“We value the strong customer base we’ve developed in Western Canada and this facility is a sign of our commitment to providing the region with the highest quality instrumentation and services in the world,” said Justin Zinke, manager of Western Operations for Endress+Hauser Canada. “This Regional Customer Support Centre allows us to be closer to our customers, offering more product, service and training opportunities to help them meet their business objectives.”

Construction of the new facility, in partnership with ONPA Architects and CPI Construction, began in September 2014. It is expected to be completed later this fall to LEED standards.
