Columbia/Okura celebrates 20 years of service

Jul. 11, 2016 – Columbia/Okura LLC, a North American provider of custom engineered robotic palletizing solutions, is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Headquartered in Vancouver, Wash., Columbia/Okura is a joint venture of material handling companies Columbia Machine and Okura USA.

Serving customers in a range of industries including agriculture, chemical, milling, food and building materials, the company says it success is largely due to the “dedication and loyalty of its employees, suppliers and customers, who together, have made this company what it is today.”

“Being easy to do business with and taking care of our customer have been key attributes to the company’s success and longevity,” said Brian Hutton, president of Columbia/Okura. “Columbia/Okura’s customer service has been recognized for excellence with its 24 hour technical support hotline, factory certified field service technicians, state of the art personnel training center, and our ongoing commitment to keeping our customer’s lines running.”

Hutton said he is expecting “bigger challenges and more significant growth opportunities” over the next two decades.
