The board of directors of CSA Group has appointed Ash Sahi to the position of president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group), a global provider of standards solutions, testing and certification services and consumer product evaluations. CSA Group's vision is for a better, safer, more sustainable world where standards work for people and business. "Ash Sahi brings 30 years of global business experience, an impeccable track record in international business development and government relations, and a passion to lead and build on CSA Group's 90-year history," says Brian McQueen, chair of the board of directors fof CSA Group. "The board of directors undertook an exhaustive search to find a progressive and visionary leader with strong business acumen, a passion for making a difference in people's lives and a determination to continue expanding CSA Group's business solutions and service offerings. Ash Sahi has these qualities and we look forward to his leadership." Sahi started his career at DuPont Canada Inc. and managed a number of global businesses for the firm over the past 25 years in the capacity of general manager and CEO. During his tenure, he worked in business development, R&D and was involved in mergers and acquisitions internationally. His last role was CEO of DuPont Liquid Packaging Systems operating in Europe, Asia and North America.
