Lafert North America adds two new team members

Lafert North America, a manufacturer of metric AC motors, metric gearboxes and coolant pumps, has appointed two new staff to its team.

Joe Aprile, P.Eng, MBA, becomes Lafert North America’s business development manager. Aprile brings over two decades of experience from HVAC, automotive and chemical industries, in varying capacities from applications to operations. Aprile is an expert in energy efficient motors and controls, and his most recent experiences were with Armstrong Fluid Technology and Swegon North America. Aprile joins the growing sales force with a focus on delivering solutions to Lafert’s OEM customers.

Efren Cruz has been appointed an inside sales representative. Cruz brings over 10 years of experience in engineering and technical sales, with a specialized focus in manufacturing, engineering consulting, construction and project management. Cruz will have the ability to enhance Lafert’s customer relationships through his technical support and project collaborations. Cruz has a background in mechanical engineering from the University of Windsor, and a civil engineering technical diploma from Seneca College.
