Manufacturing AUTOMATION is pleased to announce its media partnership with Automate Canada.

Together, the brands aim to further amplify the voice of the Canadian industrial automation community.

Automate Canada, based in Windsor, Ont., is a national association for the Canadian automation industry and its service and supplier network.

It advocates for its members by promoting the industry on a global scale, and by liaising with government on issues such as commercialization, intellectual property, technology adoption, education, R&D, and trade agreements (USMCA/NAFTA, CETA, TPP, Canada-Mercosur, etc.)

As part of the agreement, Shelley Fellows, chair of the Automate Canada board, joins Manufacturing AUTOMATION’s editorial advisory board to consult on content initiatives and provide thought leadership on behalf of the association’s membership.

“Manufacturing AUTOMATION is a mainstay of the Canadian industrial automation sector and has longsupported communication of our innovative ‘made-in-Canada’ solutions,” says Fellows.

“This association has really stepped up to the plate for its membership throughout the pandemic, providing countless resources to help automation companies and manufacturers weather the storm. The team has also lobbied for the Canadian supply chain amid current border restrictions, and they’re champions of made-in-Canada manufacturing. We look forward to helping them to spread that message going forward.”

Manufacturing AUTOMATION will continue to cover the association’s news and events, and encourages Automate Canada membership to get in touch with the editor about their business news, case studies, new products and events.

Manufacturing AUTOMATION is owned by Annex Business Media, Canada’s largest business-to-business media company with more than 60 brands.
