Mitsubishi Electric Automation has announced the promotion of Sloan Zupan to the position of senior director of corporate marketing. Zupan brings 22 years of experience in the automation industry to this role.
Zupan will head the transformed marketing department at the company. He will oversee marketing efforts, including strategic marketing, product management and product marketing.
“I have asked Sloan Zupan to lead the marketing department as the senior director of corporate marketing,” said Milton Coleman, senior vice-president of sales and marketing at Mitsubishi Electric Automation. “Sloan has been with the organization for 16 years and has held many positions within Marketing, which makes him the ideal person to drive marketing’s innovation and transformation.”
Zupan’s career at Mitsubishi Electric Automation spans 16 years, during which he held several key positions. These include product manager for software, programmable automation controllers (PACs), controllers and human-machine interfaces (HMIs), senior marketing manager and director of corporate marketing.
