Pilz Automation Safety Canada has signed a partnership agreement with Eastern Canada’s Cowper Automation to develop solutions for clients seeking automation applications.

Founded in 1944, Cowper Inc., a third-generation family-owned business, is one of Eastern Canada’s largest independent pneumatic and industrial distributors.

Cowper provides engineering solutions from basic components to complex automation systems.

“Cowper is very pleased to partner with Pilz, another family-owned automation business,” says Gren Cowper, president of Cowper Automation, in a statement. “Their safety expertise and innovation fit very well in our sales approach – ‘Application Appropriate Solutions.'”

“Cowper is a great fit for our growth strategy. Their customers are potentially our customers,” says Andreas Sobotta, CEO of Pilz Canada.

“Cowper has a highly specialized team that will help our mutual customers finding high-quality valuable solutions for their automation applications.”

Pilz Canada, headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario, is the Canadian subsidiary of the German group Pilz GmbH, a manufacturer of automation solutions based in safety for all industries, from sensor and actuator technology to controls.
