SimScale is an online platform that enables engineers and scientists to run numerical analyses of mechanical designs in a standard web browser. The browser-based online platform provides modelling and simulation capabilities. It features in-browser 3D visualization, scalable on-demand computing capacity and a pay-per-use pricing model. SimScale provides capacities for engineering simulation within various fields, such as structural mechanics, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and acoustics. The various analysis types available on SimScale can be applied to problems in many industry applications, ranging from classical stress analysis of engine components, to fluid mechanical studies of automotive applications or heat transport analysis in the chemical and process industry. With nearly unlimited computing capacity, SimScale allows users to get capacity on demand, and only pay for what they use. Users are also able to share simulation projects with colleagues and clients.
