Savigent Software Suite 6.0

Jan. 11, 2016 – Savigent Software has released version 6.0 of the Savigent suite of products.

With open connectivity to a variety of manufacturing assets and systems and the ability to distribute functionality as required, the Savigent software suite aims to help users produce products more efficiently, effectively and economically. Savigent Platform is the foundation of the suite, combining three capabilities into one software product: a composite application development framework, a unifying service architecture and a managed execution environment. Version 6.0 of the suite promises “significant enhancements,” says the company, including advanced administration features, improved developer and engineer usability, and enhanced reporting capabilities. “This update will allow manufacturers to better capture real-time data and orchestrate collaborative processes between machines, systems and people. This maximizes return on investment,” said Jimmy Asher, director of product strategy.
