Eaton launches Intelligent Power Manager software 1.53

Aug. 9, 2016 – Power management company Eaton has launched the Intelligent Power Manager software version 1.53, which it says provides information technology (IT) managers with “improved protection” for data centre IT equipment through integration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) OneView and new functionality with the OpenStack management platform.

Through the integration of the software with HPE OneView, users can maintain business continuity by addressing issues such as overheating down to the server level, says Eaton. The platform promises a unified workspace to help IT teams leverage a “one model, one data, one view” approach that “increases the speed of IT delivery for new applications and services.”
