The Siemens Industry Automation Division has enhanced its Simatic WinCC V7 process visualization software with the Simatic WinCC Calendar Scheduler option. For the first time, a calendar-based user interface is available in Microsoft Office style for simple and easy scheduling. The innovation features both a calendar as well as editors for configuring and managing events and associated actions. In addition, it is possible to set up direct connections in WinCC for the planned events and actions as well as implement global scripts.
