Over-current detectors

E-T-A has extended its product offering to include a line of over-current detectors. The TD and 9001 Hall effect current detectors protect power semiconductors in power electronic circuits by signaling when current in the circuit has exceeded the nominal detector trip point. They are designed to be mounted directly to a printed circuit board and, like Hall effect current sensors, provide isolation between the sensed current and the output. They are available in a range of set detector trip points and are fully integrated with a digital output factory programmed to go low when the trip point is exceeded. The TD and 9001 operate over a temperature range of –40ºC to 125ºC.
