Jun. 21, 2018 - Rittal explains hygienic design enclosures are engineered to prevent water damage and promise to deliver ultimate protection against contamination. “Hygienic design is crucial in the food and beverage industry. Enclosures that house electrical components and processing equipment need to be cleaned quickly and easily,” says the company.

The unit features a 30-degree roof angle designed to allow for liquids to run off easily and fully welded construction of 304 stainless steel. IP69K rated for food/beverage or any environment with sanitation concerns and high pressure washes, the enclosure features a one-piece, replaceable blue silicone gasket to provide a secure seal while the distinctive colour makes particles easy to spot and remove.
