The WALklick Quick Fit couplings by WALTHER PRAZISION are designed for vehicle manufacturing, machine and plant engineering, railway, forklifts, compact modular components and for use in medical devices. The WALklick Series is designed to replace conventional screw connections. The couplings are applied in vehicle modular and compact hydraulics, for hose diameters up to 12 mm, depending on the end connection, and working pressures up to 4,000 psi. In mechanical and plant engineering they are used for hose diameters up to 25 mm. It is possible to install the WALklick couplings without any tools and little space, with a simple “klick.” Shut-off valves prevent leakage during connection process, making it unnecessary to vent the hydraulic system so that an entire cost wasting step in the assembly process can be eliminated and the speed of the assembly lines is improved. The WALklick is available in brass, along with a through type (non-valved) version. Process safety is also gained by a non-interchangeable arrangement of supply and return lines, the company says. It is clearly visible if the coupling has been safely locked.
