Phoenix Contact 6-mm safety relay

Oct. 2, 2015 – Phoenix Contact says it is the only provider in the market with a 6-mm safety relay. The design of the safety module, it says, is made possible through its newly developed relay technology.

The design is based on a slim, powerful, and force-guided basic relay characterized by minimal space requirements, low energy consumption, and high system availability, it adds. According to Phoenix Contact, the component features the same performance as traditional EN 50205-compliant elementary relays with forced guidance. The elementary relay from Phoenix Contact consists of a NO and a NC contact and is suitable for a modular application configuration.
