AutomationDirect offers Dold force guided relays

Apr. 2, 2018 – AutomationDirect has extended its offerings of relays and safety products by adding Dold force guided relays.

Force guided relays are electromechanical switching devices that offer safe operation via mechanically linked contacts to ensure that all contacts move at the same time, and prevent movement if any contact is immobilized, says the distributor.

Dold force guided relays have at least one NC contact set and one NO contact set. Dold force guided relays are available with up to six poles in several NO/NC combinations with 5A contact rating, and provide a 12-24 AWG wire cross-section to reduce thermal load on wires, explains AutomationDirect. Mounting options include 35-mm DIN rail-mount integrated relay modules or mounting socket with plug-in relay; the relays include diode protection and modules provide LED indication. The Dold force guided relays are UL listed and RoHS compliant.
