Encoder Products Company debuts 58TP Accu-CoderPro thru-bore encoder

Jun. 13, 2017 – Encoder Products Company says its new 58TP programmable 58 mm Accu-CoderPro thru-bore encoder is specifically designed for the challenges of an industrial environment.

Using EPC’s optional programming module for the model 58TP, users can select from six output types, choose from 32 different waveforms, and program any resolution from 1 to 65,536 CPR – that’s 262,144 counts using four-times quadrature counting, it says. These programming features allow a single encoder to be configured for multiple applications, says EPC, enabling one encoder to replace many different part numbers, while provides cost savings on inventory and down-time replacement. The model is available in thru-bore or hollow-bore.
