Aug. 13, 2015 – Automation Systems Interconnect (ASI) has introduced the PLC pluggable relay terminal block modules used to interface between automation equipment and system auxiliary systems.
According to the company, the pluggable jumpers make bridging common inputs and outputs simple and save on labour and wiring costs. The standout model in the family is the ASI328003 — a 6.2-mm wide SPDT 6 Amp, 250 VAC/30 VDC pluggable relay module with a 24 VAC coil. It mounts on standard DIN rail and has a pluggable relay with locking ejector. It is equipped with a red LED status display as well as protection diodes and inductive kickback protection. It accepts a push in jumper bar with red or blue insulator which measures 500 mm long and can be cut to fit the length.
