The new E-T-A 4230 thermal magnetic miniature circuit breaker (MCB) is totally interchangeable in “form, fit and function” with existing standard MCBs on the global marketplace, according to E-T-A. It has international approvals, including IEC 60947-2 and UL 1077, and also has UL 489 approval for use in feeder and branch circuits, the company says. Available in single and multi-pole versions, the 4230 features toggle activation, visual status indication and high rupture capacity. A trip-free snap action mechanism ensures reliable switching. A range of trip characteristics and add-on modules allow for a greater variety of applications.
